We also recommend that students look for rooms in Vienna, which is only a 25-30minute train journey from St. Pölten.

Vienna, being the capital city of Austria, is a truly beautiful destination. The city has everything from beautiful buildings, to amazing museums, to a booming nightlife - as well as a very strong-rooted "coffee-cake culture" (Austrians love their coffee and cakes!).

There are a number of great hotels located close to Vienna Main Station (Hauptbahnhof) and Vienna Westbahnhof, which can easily be reached by public transport (ÖBB - Austrian Federal Railways)
